It is a business street with lots of shops. The location is interesting. It is a short walk from the main train station and leads to Altmarkt Square where Christmas markets are placed.
There are shopping centers and department stores with a huge selection of brands directly on Prager Strasse. The largest shopping houses are located near Altmarkt Square. Shopping is dominated by the huge shopping center Altmarkt Gallery, which occupies one side of the Altmarkt Square and continues along Prager Strase towards the train station.
